Senani Gunarathna / founder
Mrs. Senani Gunarathna, a distinguished figure in music education with a remarkable 18-year teaching journey. Her dedication spans across diverse age groups, from nurturing young children in grade schools to guiding undergraduates through the intricacies of Western music theory. Mrs. Gunarathna’s academic prowess is evident in her qualifications—a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Music), a Master of Philosophy in Music, and her ongoing pursuit of a doctoral degree at the University of Visual & Performing Arts, Colombo, Sri Lanka.
As an accomplished author, she has penned six insightful books that have become staples in music classrooms. Her publications, known for their research-backed approach, are widely used by teachers and students alike, making her a sought-after expert in the field. Additionally, she has contributed significantly to the academic discourse, with her research work published in esteemed journals both in Sri Lanka and abroad.
